May 27 個人研究ディスカッション The discussion about our personal works

こんにちは、4年の廣岡です。

春学期第５回目のゼミについて書いていきます。

まず前半は、先週の課題「定点観測」をテーマとしたビデオアートの振り返りを行いました。アイスが溶ける様子を撮影した動画やペンが壁から落ちるまでを撮影した動画など、どれも個性的で面白い動画でした。

後半では、各々が描いたスケッチを基に個人研究についてディスカッションを行いました。アイデアが既にまとまっている人もそうでない人も、沢山のコメントを貰っていい刺激を受けたと思います。再来週の中間発表が楽しみですね。

そして、次週の課題「英語の動詞」をテーマとしたビデオアートについてディスカッションしました。今回も３人1組となって、６つの英語の動詞“cook, pick, seek, walk, buy, have“から一つの動詞を使った動画を作成します。一体どんな作品ができるのか楽しみです。

Hello everyone, my name is Miku Hirooka. I’m in the 4^th grade.

I write about the 5^th seminar in the spring semester.

First, we reviewed the last week’s HW, which is a video art theme of “fixed-point observation”. These videos are also unique and enjoyable, for example, a video of how the ice cream melts and a video of how the pen falls.

After that, we discussed our personal works based on own sketches. A lot of comments inspired us very much, both those who already have ideas and those who don’t have yet. I’m looking forward to interim reports on the week after next.

Finally, we talked about the next week’s HW, which is also video art theme of “English verbs”. We will make videos in teams of three each and use a verb selected from 6 English verbs “cook, pick, seek, walk, buy, have”. I wonder what kind of works they will make.
